ABSTRACT
This paper shall give a short overview of actual research results and developments in research and practice, including the presentation of some outstanding projects (bridges and buildings).
2 RESEARCH
The Deutsche Forschungs-Gemeinschaft DFG (German Research Council) has started a coordinated research program (SPP 1182) on sustainable building with UHPC in 2005. It deals with material related topics as well as structural design, both in the light of the aspect of sustainability.
