ABSTRACT
PVA and steel fibres with a total volume fraction of 2%. The detail mix data is presented in Table 1. The quantities are expressed as mass ratios relative to the mass of cement.
Cylinders of 100 mm diameter and 200 mm high were cast and tested for their elastic modulus, both at hot state and after cooling to room temperature. The elastic moduli were measured at 4 different temperatures (150◦C, 300◦C, 450◦C and 600◦C) with the specimens heated at a rate of 5 ◦C/min. Once the target temperature was reached, the temperature maintained for 2 hours, the specimens were tested for the elastic moduli.
