ABSTRACT

In this context, the present paper intends to summarize the current situation of one of the main aspects of the European research program SEISRACKS2 concerning the cross-aisle behavior in terms of transverse stiffness, resistance and deformation capacity of the frame. It must be emphasized however that, at the time of concluding the present paper, experimental activities are still under way and that the paper must then be considered as a milestone and not as definitively conclusive.
