ABSTRACT
The problems of protection and support of openings within unloading zones by the example of Almazno-Marievski mines of Donbass geological and industrial district are considered. Simulation under the mining and geological conditions has been carried out; calculations characterizing effect of unloading zone on extraction working have been performed; diagrams of stresses and deformations with their time progress while extraction pillars mining under longwall advancing gently sloping coal seams have been described.
