ABSTRACT
Knowledge of mechanical properties of conveyor belt is an important condition of the reliable FE simulation of conveyor belt behaviour. Mechanical properties of rubber and textile reinforcement used in belt determine its strength, penetration resistance and friction between rubber surface layers of the belt and driving drums.
