Many materials, fluids polymers show viscoelastic behavior. MR fluids shows viscoelastic behavior and it can be modeled by a complex modulus (Wereley et al. 2006). But that characterization is valid only if the complex modulus is measured within the LVE region. The elastic limit yield stress is defined as the point at which the storage modulus deviates significantly from the plateau value in the LVE range.
