The fibrillar crystal may pass through several spherulites, and a super-structured crystal generally known as shish-kebabs (Keller & Machin 1967) forms (see Fig. 1). Thus, the two-step crystallization procedure is assumed: the nucleation associated with the formation of fibrillar crystals (shish) from extended polymer chains and the creation of spherulites around the fibrillar crystals.
