Nevertheless, to the author’s knowledge, tests on HDR under actual conditions of use of bearings (static compression and cyclic shear) have not been performed with regards to Mullins effect yet. Consequently a new biaxial system to test HDR under combined quasi-static compression and cyclic shear was developped. This new device will be presented in section 2.
