Therefore, systematic research in precipitation patterns and statistic determination of the occurrence frequency of their maximum amounts are becoming so important nowadays, especially for such a rare rainfall repeatability. It is especially significant in order to match the requirements of the aforementioned standard (Baldassarre et al. 2006, Ben-Zvi 2009, Brath et al. 2003, Overeem et al. 2008). The appropriately long and uniform archival material from precipitation observation, not shorter than from the period of 30 years (Kossowska-Cezak 1999) is thus essential.
