The Basics: Are You at the Starting Line?
Many organizations are not achieving the results that they would like. They are not as productive or efficient as they think they can be; they ship more orders late than they feel is acceptable; they are out of stock of materials when they are needed; and they cannot rely on their data and records. At some point, these companies will begin to look for a fix for their problems. They will send their managers to presentations and seminars looking for the newest management program; they will hire consultants; or they will simply pressure everyone to “get better, or else.”
