ABSTRACT
The city of Changchun lies 150 miles to the south of Harbin/Ping Fan. Although the name in Chinese means "Eternal Spring," Changchun endures the harsh climate common to central and northern Manchuria. The city does have many attractions, despite the severe winters and warm humid summers. It is, as with Harbin, a relatively new city.
