ABSTRACT
In addition to the PASAT system for Microsoft® Word, a program to work with Corel® WordPerfect also is available to author electronic versions of the specification, called Template for Specification Authoring. You will need to install the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) component as part of the WordPerfect Office 2000 setup when using the USPTO-provided WordPerfect XML Template. To see if Visual Basic for Applications has already been installed as part of the WordPerfect Office 2000 setup, open WordPerfect and select the Tools menu. If Visual Basic is unavailable (“grayed”), you will need to run the WordPerfect setup again. Follow the setup procedure given in your WordPerfect software to install Visual Basic. If Visual Basic is available, go to the Macro Setup section to continue installation.
