ABSTRACT
Information is the central axis of all violence assessment, and behavioral information is the most important information of all, because “actions speak louder than words.” The depth and accuracy of the information that is obtained is directly correlated to the quality and accuracy of the assessment. In every assessment, a dynamic balance of time, resources and intervention must be reached and maintained for optimum safety. This means that the information gathering process will be done under varying degrees of pressure, usually intense.
