ABSTRACT
How is student A going to react to these questions being asked so publicly? Are you going to get any genuine feedback from them about the task? Is the student going to be able to reflect on their behaviour genuinely if you talk to them in this manner? You can only be talking to student A like this in order to highlight their lack of contribution, but isn’t this already obvious? If you have rewarded the positive behaviour correctly then you shouldn’t need to highlight the negative behaviour in this way. Do you think you are going to prevent student A from behaving like this again? Is student A more or less likely to join in group work after this incident?
