ABSTRACT
In a matter of a few hours, this survivor’s life was changed forever. The physical pain was clearly excruciating, but to her, it paled in comparison to the intensity and the duration of the emotional scars. Notice, as well, that with the support of her family and professional treatment, she is now doing well. She is not a rape victim, but rather a survivor.
