ABSTRACT

Natural disasters come in many forms. Excessive rain, flooding, hurricanes, tornadoes, and earthquakes are only a few of the natural events that can damage property, disrupt business, and cause a loss of assets. Damage caused by these natural occurrences can affect water, gas, electric, and communication lines. Consider also the deaths and injuries along with property losses and the relocation of those inhabitants affected. Earthquakes cannot be predicted and can occur without warning, and volcanoes and tornadoes occur with little, if any, warning. These occcurrences will cause not only severe damage and injury but fear and panic.
