ABSTRACT
Wildfire Wildfire is caused by natural forces (dry land, lightning strikes) or by humans in large tracts of woodlands, which encroach upon residential and business areas. These types of fires are much more prevalent in the western states. Depending on the severity and size of the blaze, the need for timely evacuation and protection of property may be minimal.
