ABSTRACT
Other than the terrorist or criminal act of dispersing bacterial or viral agents covered elsewhere in this book, the accidental transmission of bloodborne pathogens must be considered a major health hazard. In addition, the unintentional workplace incident where some hazardous or toxic substance might affect anyone in and around the business facility must be considered.
