ABSTRACT
This is the largest of all of the chapters because the sheer bulk of the information involved in this chapter is so voluminous. The “umbrella term” of physical security gauges the candidate’s knowledge in the areas of CCTV, alarm systems, access controls, fencing, physical barriers, lighting, CPTED
,
safes and vaults, locks and locking systems, key controls, and much more. The purpose of this chapter is to familiarize the reader with the various segments that compose the physical security portion of the test and to impart the knowledge required to pass the CPP
exam as it relates to physical security.
