ABSTRACT
This chapter outlines the National Response Plan (NRP) issued in December 2004 by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). It outlines at strategic levels the what, where, and how in case of a crisis or large-scale disaster, usually at a national level. The last sections of this chapter will identify key roles and functions of the NRP and its implementations.
