ABSTRACT
Many of the footwear impressions were overlapping, meaning that people were not paying attention to where they were stepping and stepped on top of existing footwear impressions (Figure 13.2). ™is may have resulted in the obliteration of footwear impressions from the suspect or witnesses. Analysis of these impressions may have helped show where individuals were standing or walking within the scene.
