Trace evidence can be found at virtually any type of crime scene. However, due to being trace in nature, it is easily overlooked. How many Ÿrst responders processing a recovered stolen vehicle or the point of entry at a burglary scene regularly take the time or make the e¥ort to search for and collect trace evidence? But the truth is, when the right techniques are applied, trace evidence can be very easy to search for and collect.
