The Jefferson Healthcare story is about passionate people working to save their community healthcare system. Yet, people can’t make up for poor processes forever. Given their tight budget, they could no longer solve their process problems by adding more people. So, why did they decide to embark on a lean journey? Survival! And how did they turn their “false start” into a “turnaround story”? They stayed the course!
