ABSTRACT

Here is an oft-asked question: “If we’re going to focus so much on teamwork, aren’t we going to sacrifice quality?” Here’s my answer: if you misinterpret working as a team as merely getting along, you will. But true teamwork isn’t about simply holding hands and singing campfire songs; it’s about working efficiently and effectively together in order to produce a desired result, which, by the way, may or may not happen to include getting along.
