Female victims Female victims are very rare, with fewer than 25 cases reported in the literature. It is probable that the actual number is higher since it is likely that cases are often missed because the presentation of the female victims is less obvious than the presentation of male ones. The scene in female victims is more subtle, usually without pornographic material, complex bindings, or cross-dressing. Accessory props are generally limited to foreign body insertion into the vagina or rectum.
