ABSTRACT
Introduction Ÿere are numerous steps that can be taken by a community to prepare children for disasters and to ensure that those facilities that support children have the appropriate emergency plans. Emergency managers must work closely with community stakeholders, school o›cials, child care providers, and emergency shelter managers to ensure that the needs of children are addressed in their emergency operations plans.
