ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on women’s healthcare in a multicultural society. The importance of men’s healthcare is acknowledged as being of equal importance (and will be discussed in Chapter 8) but the potential impact of women’s health and health problems significantly influences the lives of others, particularly their role in child care and as mothers.
