ABSTRACT
Introduction A customer-order pick activity is a warehouse activity that completes a customer order. An order fulfillment customer-order pick activity has an employee or machine complete SKU pick transactions from a pick position as a (1) single customer order into a WMS or warehouse identified customerorder tote, or an open space between two belt conveyor cleats; or (2) as batched customer order prelabeled SKUs picked and transferred en masse onto a belt conveyor or into totes or bulk, or picked en masse SKUs that are labeled for transport to a customer-order final sort and pick activity.
