ABSTRACT

In this book we have focused only on liquid products, or those products that to some degree behave like liquids, as described in Chapter 1. As one last step in this process, we can look into the possibility of making the Great Leap Backward. If Supply Chain for Liquids is seen as the next step forward beyond Supply Chain, can we take Supply Chain for Liquids principles and apply them back to the discrete products that make up the bulk of Supply Chain activity?
