ABSTRACT
Many law enforcement officers have come to know the power of forensic art. They have seen a composite drawing lead to the perpetrator they seek, or a facial reconstruction help reveal the identity of a homicide victim. Age progressions help officers recover abducted children and locate fugitives who have been at large for many years. Many have witnessed the profound impact and clarity that forensic art can bring to court proceedings.
