ABSTRACT
Most expert witnesses who have not participated in many trials have a fear of cross-examination. This fear is unfounded, since it is virtually impossible to “destroy” on cross-examination an expert who knows what he or she is talking about. You should be aware of a few major legal rules that apply in this area.
