As was shown in Chapter 3, “TLO: še Latest Online Investigative System,” TLOxp® is free to law enforcement, but there are many additional online tools for investigators. šey include fee-based data aggregators and many di¦erent kinds of databases, as well as search engines, de—ned as computer programs that crawl the web and are designed to retrieve data from documents and databases.
