ABSTRACT
On June 17, 1992, the Burbank Police Department worked with a private law firm to assist a private community association in obtaining a gang injunction against the Westside Playboy gang in the City of Burbank. The injunction named the gang and 43 individual members. The defendants were ordered to remain 2,500 yards away from the 2300 block of North Fairview Street. The injunction restricted intimidating witnesses and blocking free passage, including private driveways and public thoroughfares. The preliminary injunction was granted on July 1, 1992.
