Signi‹cant changes in the delivery of health care are in progress today that would add health care itself to the range of marketable products. As this move toward the marketization of health care gathers force, reproductive medicine is increasingly sliding toward the sale of certain human bits and pieces to generate babies. e commodi‹cation of human gametes to enable women to become pregnant is now an established practice in reproductive medicine and the sale of human cells and fetal ovaries and eggs to achieve reproductive ends is in the ong. Such fresh avenues for the sale of bits and pieces of human beings could not only assist those who need medical care to create babies, but enable those who are poor to obtain funds to express their love and meet their needs.
