ABSTRACT
In Chapter 7, we described various technologies that are used in pursuing continuous improvement programs. In this chapter, we will describe why it is also necessary to address the infrastructure of an organization to be successful. Determining the infrastructure of an organization does not always receive much attention in business books for practitioners. It is, to be perfectly honest, not the most exciting aspect of running a company. And yet, it is deceptively one of the most important items that need to be “right” for the business to be successful.
