ABSTRACT
Crime scenes are dynamic, rapidly changing environments and the first officers to arrive on the scene must be concerned with countless details. To a great extent, the success of
the investigation and, perhaps, the chance for a successful resolution of the case hinge on actions and steps taken by the first officer to arrive at the crime scene.
