ABSTRACT
This chapter provides an overview of the management system called TQM (total quality management). In recent years, the Six Sigma program has come to the fore in the quality movement. Figure 17.0.0.1 showed that “quality” must always be seen relative to what is happening in the entire company. Quality management is therefore a task that is oriented to company performance.
