ABSTRACT
A wide array of intelligent video (IV) applications is available today and more will become available in the coming years as the market emerges. Some applications such as video motion detection and camera tampering alarm are applicable for most video surveillance installations, whereas others address the needs of specific industries, mostly in the retail, transportation, and critical infrastructure markets.
