Cameras are complex mechanical and electrical devices based on many different technologies. Understanding these technologies is important to make the most of a video surveillance system.
One of the most important features — if not the most important — of any camera is image quality. This especially is true in video surveillance, where lives and property may be at stake. But how is image quality defined, and how can it be measured and guaranteed?
