ABSTRACT

Training needs to be a “constant” in the workplace — to broaden an individual’s perspective, obtain job-specic knowledge and skills, obtain state-of-the-art knowledge and skills, and prepare people to perform a job, a new function, or a new procedure. Of all the things that can be done for prevention, preparedness, and response to a terrorist attack, the most important “proactive activity” includes the conduct of effective training and continuous education of people.
