Terrorists use violence: Terrorist operations entailviolence or the threat of violence. Some groupsthat use violent means may also carry out terror operations that do not use violence in the traditional sense, such as cyberterrorism or bomb threats, but may result in disruption that heightens the sense of fear and terror.
