ABSTRACT
Every organization has a planning process but not every organization has a clear, focused planning process. In most organizations, there’s plenty of confusion about planning. What is it? Who should participate? What should it focus on? As you can imagine, this kind of confusion lends itself to poorly designed planning processes and plans alike. This chapter provides a clear process-based planning system focusing on the issue of how the organization should compete.
