ABSTRACT

How can people better manage their interactions and be suc-cessful at work? How can the knowledge and information of the previous pages help people? It oŸen is said that “knowledge is power,” but is that really true? While we intend and hope that the preceding will help people in some way be more e£ective at work and experience greater satisfaction from what they do, we know that the subject matter of people skills and human relations is highly multifaceted and complex. How can the knowledge of the preceding pages best be put into practice? Much of what we read or learn seems to fall by the roadside; it is not much used. Will the same happen to the material in this book?
