Evidence-Based Practice

There are many types of evidence-based practice (EBP) that apply to correctional organizations. The past 30 years have provided the field with a wealth of information under the title of “what works.” However, the field has failed to identify exactly how to make “what works” work. This chapter focuses on outlining principles for effectively disseminating and implementing EBPs.
