ABSTRACT

Introduction So far we have touched on some of the general issues of healthcare and addressed the concerns about change, teams, and the logistical problems that a team may have to encounter in the process of solving quality problems. In this chapter, we will focus speci§cally on the e›ects of change in healthcare. As we mentioned in the earlier chapters, change is inevitable and it happens all the time and everywhere. ˜e question is how this change a›ects healthcare. To answer this question, we must understand at least the following several questions.
