ABSTRACT
In the days, weeks, and months following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, people all across America felt the need to do something. Memorials were made, tributes written to the victims, and support offered to survivors. Americans did what they could to help those affected by the tragedy, and they wholeheartedly supported their government’s efforts to track down those responsible.
