ABSTRACT
Various ways exist to defend against suicide bombers, including proactive law enforcement, deploying professional security guards, and hardening (fortifying) public facilities. None may be as important as the propaganda war that government public relations of‚cers wage against the bombers and their sponsors for the hearts and minds of the international community. In this chapter, we focus on the international media and the global community, because the war against terror is waged largely on an international basis.
