ABSTRACT
Audio surveillance occurs over both wired and wireless systems. While wireless systems are discussed in this chapter in a general sense, the main focus is on wired systems. This is because many wireless audio communications are converted into radio-wave frequencies, which are discussed in greater detail in the Radio Surveillance chapter.
