ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we initiate the top-down analysis of the medications domain-“the system”—from two main perspectives: workflows and data structures. The tools we use-dataflow diagram (DFD) and entity-relationship diagram (ERD)— were introduced in Chapter 1.
