ABSTRACT
Body language is nonverbal, mostly unconscious, communication, which can reveal much about a person’s emotional state. Adjusting a watchband or bracelet is a sign of nervousness. e arm-cross gesture forms, momentary barrier and provides needed security. Rubbing an eye is a sign that the person is lying. e gesture is an attempt to block out the deceit or to avoid looking in the face of the individual being lied to. Placing –ngers in the mouth indicates the person is feeling pressured.
